BusinessCloud has been named as the official media partner of the prestigious Business Beats Cancer Manchester Gala Dinner.
More than 400 people are expected to attend the fundraising dinner at Manchester Cathedral on Thursday March 27th 2025.
Monies raised from the night will go towards funding vital Cancer Research projects taking place in Christies Manchester Labs.
The event, which will be hosted by BusinessCloud’s executive editor Chris Maguire, will include an auction, raffles, special guests and live musical performances from Franchesqua and Mr Wilson’s Second Liners.
The evening will include a performance by the poet Argh Kid.
Jon Butler, chairman of the Business Beats Cancer Manchester and CEO of creative and performance marketing agency TrunkBBI, said he was delighted to be working with BusinessCloud.
He said: “Cancer affects one in two people and has probably touched every company and organisation in Manchester.
“Business Beats Cancer Manchester brings together like-minded business leaders to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
“Our gala dinner is our main fundraising activity of the year and it promises to be an unforgettable night.
“We’re delighted to be working with BusinessCloud. Chris is one of the most respected names in Manchester’s business community so he’s the perfect person to host our gala dinner.
“There are still tables available so I would urge Manchester’s businesses to play their part in the fight against cancer by booking a table.”
Maguire said: “Like everyone else my life has been touched by cancer. Last year the disease claimed my Dad’s life and I’m delighted that BusinessCloud has joined forces with Business Beats Cancer Manchester.
“Manchester has one of the highest rates of lung cancer deaths in the UK but this gala dinner sends out a powerful message by raising money for potentially life-changing research that could detect lung cancer earlier and save lives. It would be great to see you there.”
