HR software business Natural HR has been acquired by Moorepay, a payroll and HR provider with offices in Manchester and Farnborough.

Moorepay is a member of the Zellis Group and serves SMEs across the UK and Ireland.

It will take on Natural HR’s Birmingham City Centre office.

“We’re delighted to be joining the Moorepay family and I’m thrilled Moorepay is continuing with our Birmingham office,” said Natural HR COO Sarah Dowzell.

“This city is where we started up from a seed investment round in 2015, from there we began growing our talented team to become a business supporting over 250 customers and 100,000 employees.

“We took on our Lionel Street office in 2022 to continue with our expansion plans and deliver in-person training sessions to our customers, and we’ve had great feedback on our service.

“Because Moorepay is a long-established market leader in payroll software and services, this acquisition means we can continue creating regional employment and enhancing our service offering.

“I’m really looking forward to integrating our HR software into Moorepay to create a unique product in the marketplace that our customers will love.”

Anthony Vollmer, MD of Moorepay, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Natural HR colleagues to Moorepay and we’re all really excited by the opportunity this combination will bring.

“Building on Moorepay’s exceptional growth over the past year, we wanted to strengthen our HR software offering to our customers. Natural HR is the perfect fit in terms of culture, technology, functionality and most importantly, meeting SMB customer needs.

“The combined product offering will make it much easier for SMBs to deliver an exceptional employee experience. We’ll be providing them with joined-up, easy to use and highly productive digital workflows for all things payroll and HR.

“Plus we can offer payroll and HR expertise that fits hand in glove with the software making it even easier for our customers to trust us.”
