Manchester-based digital product consultancy Apadmi has acquired Polish mobile company Droids On Roids.
Apadmi, which creates bespoke mobile apps, says the acquisition marks the next step in its continued growth into Europe.
It expanded into the Netherlands in 2022 and notched up a year of record growth in 2024 with a 36% increase in revenue.
For Droids On Roids it marks the culmination of 14 years of consistent growth which has seen the Wroclaw-based mobile specialist build a strong client base in Europe with brands like Carlsberg and beyond into the USA with Unilever and Giphy.
Apadmi, which took on investment from private equity firm CBPE, has created an enviable position at the forefront of mobile digital product creation and systems integration with a client base including Asda, Domino’s, Co-op, the NHS and Poundland.
“We’re thrilled to be taking the next step in Apadmi’s continued international growth with a business as exciting as Droids On Roids,” said CEO Garry Partington.
“It’s a brilliant fit which builds on our unique blend of mobile engineering and digital product expertise and also gives us a great foothold into other markets.”
Wojtek Szwajkiewicz, CEO and co-founder of Droids On Roids, said: “We’re really proud of the reputation our team has created and the similarities with Apadmi make this a great business to help achieve our ambitious growth targets. There are exciting times ahead.”
Apadmi’s M&A director Jasper van de Luijtgaarden said: “Announcing this latest acquisition is a really important next step in our growth. We’re making great progress as our M&A journey accelerates and we continue to evaluate suitable businesses across key European markets.”
