North East-based entrepreneur Sara Davies MBE joined Dragons’ Den in 2019 (series 17), becoming the youngest ever Dragon at the time.
As a student, she launched Crafters’ Companion, a business which she has recently returned to after it faced financial struggles.
Davies was awarded an MBE in the 2016 New Year Honours List for services to the economy. She has gained a likeable reputation and tends to be enthused by innovative startups, which she is able to relate to.
This reputation has been backed up by those who have entered the Den, with Choppity CEO Zara Paul revealing that Davies regularly bakes cakes for the cast and crew.
