FUEL is an innovative event created to fuel business growth for promising startups and scaleups.
Supported by Growth Platform and Clockwise, FUEL Liverpool is a two-part event which begins with a whistle-stop discussion of some of the big questions facing business. A panel of entrepreneurs and experts will share their insight and analysis on key areas including funding, people, export and planning for growth.
Part two of FUEL Liverpool is an exclusive, invite-only masterclass where a select group of businesses will gain direct access to the experts. The session will be split into dedicated pods – with each business participating in all pods, on a round-robin basis – and involve a deep dive on the subjects raised in the morning session with some of the most respected names in the world of business. With practical steps to overcoming challenges and maximising growth when building your business, topics include:
• How to become investment-ready
• The different types of funding available
• Identifying – & working with – the right investors
• Tips for recruitment, retention & performance
• Boosting diversity & inclusion
• How to add an ‘X Factor’ to your boardroom
• Launching or selling your product into new markets

• Other considerations when expanding internationally
• Safeguarding intellectual property
