Compliance Dashboard
The Compliance Dashboard is a go-to platform for managing waste compliance, documents, contracts, and data. It provides real-time updates on the compliance status of waste contractors and any onward disposal sites or subcontractors, powered by the Environment Agency’s API.

Paperwork
Paperwork has been designed and built with SME waste companies, for SME waste companies, helping them streamline their entire business operations from opportunities to invoicing, increasing productivity and profitability, all whilst simplifying the complex world of waste compliance. Paperwork makes use of a number of inbuilt tools to support users to navigate their legal obligations, improve profitability and streamline work across teams.
The system automatically generates legally compliant documents, such as waste transfer notes and hazardous waste consignment notes based on the EWC codes chosen, with inline validation wizards to make handing tasks off to other departments a breeze and accurate profitability forecasts so you can make the best choice for each job.

The team is experienced in researching and understanding user needs, analysing and improving processes, and designing and creating innovative tech that delivers powerful results to transform organizations.
Circular Economy Service Design – we work on projects that turn waste into valuable resources. Using a user-centred, agile approach, the team has delivered results for clients from the public, private, and third sectors by finding ways to implement circular economy principles into current processes or redesign them altogether.
Case Study
Dsposal are the project leads on the transformative Innovate UK backed PPP Phase 2 project which will improve the quality and availability of packaging data for everyone in the packaging value chain. It will revolutionise the way packaging data is collected and shared through the creation of an open standard for packaging data (Open 3P), the development of a data sharing platform and the incorporation of a not-for-profit entity that will run the platform. The project is a truly collaborative effort with project partners Open Data Manchester, OPRL, RECOUP and Ecosurety, alongside input from over 100 stakeholders from 50+ organisations so far. As many packaging supply chains are global the partners are prioritising rapid internationalisation of the Open 3P data standard and the data sharing platform.

Dsposal and its co-founders have won multiple awards and recognition for their work. Sophie Walker, the CEO, was awarded an Innovate UK Women in Innovation award in 2020 and listed as a Northern Game Changer in 2022. She has also been shortlisted for the Business Green Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Northern Power Women. Co-founders Sophie and Tom have been listed in the Resource Hot 100 for the last three years. Dsposal was nominated for the Earthshot Prize and has been twice shortlisted for the National Recycling Awards.
