Manchester is the fastest growing tech city in Europe with record levels of investment and a thriving ecosystem of start-ups, scale-ups and unicorns.
However the industry is littered with stories of entrepreneurs with great ideas which crashed and burned – which is why thestartupfactory.tech was founded in 2017.
Based in Manchester Technology Centre in Oxford Road, the organisation helps tech founders transform their ideas into reality.
Now they’ve turned their learnings into a book – From the Factory Floor – We Build Tech Companies – which is a must-read for tech entrepreneurs on their business journey.
This exclusive event will have a special focus on tech start-ups and will hear from two of the authors of the book in Ian Brookes and Jon Davage but also some of the main names at the cutting edge of the city’s burgeoning tech sector.
As the world begins to emerge from Covid the event will look at how the city’s tech sector has led the recovery and some of the opportunities and challenges facing start-ups.
The event is being hosted by award-winning journalist and BusinessCloud executive editor Chris Maguire and will be followed by drinks and networking opportunities.
