The annual Northern Tech Awards will take place on 22 March in Edinburgh to celebrate the digital economy of the North of England and Scotland.
It recognises the Top 100 Fastest Growing Technology companies in the region, in association with Tech North, aiming to identify the UK’s next tech success stories capable of scaling to billion-dollar valuations and beyond.

This year’s judging panel has also been announced, including serial entrepreneurs Bill Dobbie and George Mackintosh, David Rowan, former editor of Wired, Richard Law, former CEO of GB Group, Mark Sebba, former CEO of Net-a-Porter, Richard Gregory, chairman of Tech North, Charles Sharland, co-founder of Appsense, Rob Cotton, former CEO of NCC Group and Jason Stockwood, CEO of Simply Business.
The Northern Tech Awards 2018 is presented by GP Bullhound as a not-for-profit event with the support and sponsorship of Barclays Bank, OBI Property, Squire Patton Boggs, Scottish Equity Partners, Aquiline Capital Partners, Berenberg, BGF Ventures, Frazer John Recruitment, Inflexion Private Equity, London Stock Exchange, Mercia Technologies, Tech North and Draw & Code.
