London-based FinTech start-up Huddlestock has appointed Simen Teigre as its new CEO.
Teigre is co-founder and former chief executive of video communications firm Pexip. He led the company from inception to revenues of more than $10 million.
He was also previously CEO at Zaptec, where he led the turnaround that took the electric vehicle charging company from $200,000 in revenues to $4 million and profitability in just over a year.
“Huddlestock’s goal of making the best investment opportunities available for everyone, at a low cost and in an engaging way, has the potential to turn the financial services industry upside down,” said Teigre.
“To be a part of making this happen is a challenge I’m truly looking forward to.”
Huddlestock is behind an innovative marketplace for investments. It brings together professional suppliers of investment opportunities with private capital in an “efficient and engaging way”.
The company is based at Level39 in London and also operates from a European office in Oslo.
