Education technology specialist Prowise has taken home a top accolade from the sector’s most prestigious awards ceremony.

Fresh from launching its first ever UK division at MediaCityUK in Salford, Greater Manchester, the firm’s new personal device has been recognised by the BETT show in London.

Prowise’s Google Chromebook ProLine was handed the Digital Device award.

The BETT 2017 judging panel included education experts from across the country, who said: “We felt this was an excellent product that would be used in many ways in the classroom (and at home).

“The flexibility of using both a laptop and tablet, the ability to use the presentation technology and the features that make it hard-wearing and durable were all impressive.”

Mario Van Och, manager of Prowise UK said: “The Chromebook ProLine is a new addition to our line of personal devices, and a personal favourite.

“It has 360-degree flexibility so it easily goes from laptop to tablet.

“It aligns perfectly with the 360-degree learning solution motto we live by, so naturally we are really happy to have it represent us in the UK by winning this award.”

Matt Daly, general director of Prowise UK, also commented: “We are really proud to be starting out independently with our first step being this award.

“It’s an honour to be recognised for this product because it is the ultimate solution for teaching and learning.

“I am confident this launches us into the limelight and there are many more accolades like this one to come.”

Prowise also used BETT 2017 to launch their new product, Central OS, as well as a new price range for the UK market.

The Central Operational System launches with five fingers on its touchscreen.

Different apps are integrated into the system to make accessing main features easier for teachers and students alike.
