An agentic AI platform for managed service providers (MSPs) has been launched in Leeds by the founders of Vapour and CloudWize.
Levelled, pitched as ‘the revenue engine for MSPs’, is designed to take on the repetitive work that erodes their margins.
It automates the full Microsoft cloud solution provider (CSP) licensing lifecycle in one closed loop, from uncovering opportunities, to quoting, procuring, provisioning, billing and reconciliation.
The aim is to remove process waste, upskill non-technical talent and give MSPs more time to advise and retain their customers.
Levelled is the brainchild of CTO Matt Hyde and CEO Edward Humphrey, who left their roles at global systems integrators to co-found AI consultancy CloudWize, the development arm behind the new platform.
They’ve spent their entire careers transforming businesses with Microsoft, and have worked closely with and for MSPs who have felt their growth restricted by reactive repetition, process handoffs and disconnected systems and technologies.
Tim Mercer – founder of UK MSP Vapour, which he sold in 2025 – is chief commercial officer of both Levelled and CloudWize, which will operate jointly under the Levelled Group banner.
He has seen first-hand how restricted salespeople are without access to technical and ever-changing Microsoft knowledge, and how much time is lost to quoting, CRM updates and billing admin, which limits revenue conversion.
CMO Katie Mallinson – who has spent almost 20 years raising the profile of businesses in the channel – completes the senior leadership team line-up, with customer success lead James Wood also bringing over a decade of MSP experience.
“Most salespeople like speaking to customers. They don’t like creating proposals, updating the CRM and waiting for colleagues’ input,” said Mercer. “Levelled changes all of this. It absolutely won’t take salespeople, operations or finance teams out of the equation.
“But it will let them process opportunities and reconcile payments faster, so MSPs make more revenue and more profit.
“Now, you can turn a quote around in seconds, for example. That means revenue comes into the business faster, and – with our GoCardless integration – invoices get paid automatically.”
Levelled is targeting £30 million turnover by 2030. The company plans to recruit in the next three months, secure investment within 12 months, and is already exploring entry into North America.
Humphrey added: “I’ve been on the knife edge of innovation since the birth of cloud. Technology excites me daily, but it rarely impresses me. This is impressive, and we’re only just getting started.
“There are products that handle the sales element, and platforms that do the billing, but there’s no platform that wraps everything CSP into one place, with a holistic view from start to finish. That’s where Levelled has a real USP. It’s almost 10 products wrapped into one.”
CTO Hyde added: “We’ve been automating complex processes for global enterprise customers for many years, but progress has been piecemealed. Traditional automation relied on specialist engineering, complex integrations and significant investment to connect systems and processes at scale.
“AI has fundamentally changed what’s possible and the economics of delivering it. AI agents now have access to tools, context and knowledge, which means we can automate frustrating, profit-eroding processes like licensing lifecycles end to end, without MSPs having to invest heavily.”
