Nathan Murdoch was the third founder to pitch on tonight’s episode of Dragons’ Den – and didn’t receive an offer.
Episode 9 of series 23 saw the return of guest judge and football legend Gary Neville alongside regular Dragons Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett.
The graffiti artist painted a bold vision for scaling his mural installation business. However despite his failure to secure an offer, he received plenty of advice – and Bartlett’s phone number with an invitation to join the Diary of a CEO host in his office for a brainstorming session.
Based in Peterborough, Nathan’s murals can be seen right across the East of England city.
Through his business Street Arts Hire, he creates private murals as well as community-led projects and is looking to expand.
He has won awards and seen several of his works go viral around the world.
Nathan said of his time in the Den: “I don’t think I have ever experienced so many emotions in such a short space of time – but I came through the other side feeling that it was one of the most challenging experiences of my life to date.
“Walking into that room alone and representing not only Street Arts Hire, but the journey that brought me there, was something I will never forget.
“I’m incredibly proud to have had the opportunity to tell that story.”
