Zandra Moore has expanded the leadership team at her AI consultancy Zygens a year after stepping down as CEO of Leeds-based tech firm Panintelligence.
Zygens is an agentic AI consultancy that promises to help finance and professional services move from AI ambition to production.
Moore, who was awarded an MBE for her work at Panintelligence and her contributions to gender equality in business, has announced three additions to Zygens’ board and founding team.
Charlie Bartle takes on the role as chief operating officer; experienced Tim Lewis is chief technology officer; and Andy Roberts is the new chief marketing officer.
Moore said: “It’s hard to compute how much has changed for me personally and professionally. Stepping away from something I built, starting again, living lean, backing myself quietly and consistently.
“But today feels huge. After 25 years growing technology, data and machine learning businesses in the UK, I have never felt more certain about an opportunity or about a team.
“When I left Panintelligence, I went head down. No noise. No big announcements. Just building.
“I started Zygens because I could see what was coming.
“Agentic AI isn’t hype. It’s a structural shift in how financial and professional services organisations operate. Strategy, governance, workflow design, value realisation — all of it needs rethinking.
“So I built a framework. I tested it. I proved it across FinTech, insurance, mutuals, lending and collections.
“But here’s the truth…I don’t like building alone.
“If I’ve learned anything, it’s that the right team changes everything. Today we officially launch Zygens and I could not be prouder of my three co-founders Charlie Bartle, Andy Roberts and Tim Lewis.
“You’ve challenged me, backed me, stretched the thinking, and brought energy at exactly the right moment.
“This is not just another consultancy. This is a mission to help regulated organisations move from AI noise to real operational value safely, commercially and with governance at the core.
“Let’s build something that scales and lasts.”
Moore co-founded Panintelligence in 2014 with CTO Ken Miller and grew it to £3m ARR with 35 staff.
Moore went from being the commercial director to CEO in 2017 and became a massive advocate for women in tech, sitting on the UK government’s Taskforce for Women Led High Growth Enterprises.
