A Milton Keynes-based developer of document automation and management software has been acquired by Netherlands-headquartered Whitevision.

Document Logistix, which was founded in 2011, is the fourth firm to be snapped up by the intelligent document processing (IDP) specialist in its buy-and-build strategy.

It is Whitevision’s first international deal since partnering with private equity firm Main Capital Partners and it supports international expansion for both businesses.

The corporate finance team at accountancy and advisory firm MHA acted as lead adviser to Document Logistix, running an international sale process and supporting negotiations that resulted in a strategic partnership with Whitevision.

Document Logistix specialises in automating critical document workflows, including accounts payable and HR processes, and holds a strong market position across the logistics, education, real estate and professional services sectors.

Meanwhile, Whitevision serves more than 2,000 customers across sectors including construction, professional services, technology, logistics and automotive, processing over 20 million documents annually.

“Joining forces with Whitevision creates exciting opportunities for our customers and our team,” said Dan Wajzner, managing director of Document Logistix.

“Together, we can deliver a broader, more innovative product suite while leveraging our combined expertise to drive growth across multiple geographies.”

Frank de Wit, CEO and founder of Whitevision, added: “The acquisition of Document Logistix is a pivotal moment for Whitevision.

“The combination further strengthens our intelligent document processing and document management capabilities and marks our entry into the US and UK markets.

“This step accelerates our ambition to become a leading international player in document automation and workflow solutions.”
