Tunstall Healthcare has appointed a new CEO in experience digital health executive Paul Adams.
Adams replaces Emil Peters, who joined the firm in 2022 and stepped down this summer.
The Doncaster-headquartered digital health and care services company has been led on an interim basis by chairman Steve Francis since June.
Adams was most recently CEO of Lloyds Clinical, where he led the digitisation of care journeys for up to 100,000 patients. He left the firm in June.
Prior to that, he held chief executive roles at medical aesthetics and dentistry business DD Group. He has also served as CEO of DD Glory Global Solutions, Redeem and Talaris (De La Rue).
Now he will lead Tunstall Healthcare globally, supporting local leadership teams across all markets.
“There is no denying this is a critical time for health and care. While many factors, such as the growth of AI and an aging population, are global, the way these are playing out will impact local health and care settings – and most importantly individuals needing care – differently,” said Adams.
“These impacts will require new solutions and ways of thinking about technology, housing, health and care. I am delighted to be joining Tunstall Healthcare, a company with such a rich heritage combined with a progressive vision, to lead this transformative change across our markets.”
Francis said: “The connected care landscape is changing at pace, creating new opportunities for innovation. Paul brings the ideal blend of experience across business-to-business and consumer-facing markets, as well as recent experience of digital transformation in a patient-centred homecare environment.
“His appointment as Group CEO strengthens our global leadership team and aligns with our aspirations for the future of Tunstall; a global family of businesses united by the common goal of improving quality of life through innovative and customer-focused connected care.”
