BusinessCloud can reveal its InsurTech 50 innovation ranking for 2025.

Our readers and an expert judging panel have together decided the 50 companies blazing a technology trail in the insurance industry.

The InsurTech 50 celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original tech for insurance advice, products and claims.

Genasys, a cloud-based insurance solution for insurers, MGAs and brokers, tops the ranking. Its clients can select the modules they need to launch, run and grow a modern business.

In second is House of Insurtech, a digital insurance platform that helps insurers, MGAs and brokers innovate and grow their businesses.

In third spot is PeppercornAI, which is transforming the insurance operating model. Its platform Pipr is the world’s first conversational AI platform specially built for insurance and is designed to reduce operating costs and improve risk selection.

Positions 4-6 are taken by Lukango, Laka and Insurwave, while in seventh is Meshed, behind a purpose-built AI which connects with a business’s data to offer precisely the right insurance coverage in real-time from top insurers – cutting commission fees by up to 30%.

In 10th, behind Sprout.ai and Napo, is Gigasure. Its GigaShield platform empowers UK travellers to take control of their journeys – from on-demand cover upgrades to instant payouts for flight and baggage delays.

An array of other trailblazers feature on the ranking.

Mckenzie Intelligence Services (MIS) combines military intelligence expertise and data to deliver actionable insights to the global insurance industry around the impact of catastrophic events.

Specialising in the global vacation rental industry, Pikl helps protect individual hosts and  homeowners with specialist insurance, whilst also partnering with platforms and property managers to embed insurance-enabled products.

Intelligent AI is a global location intelligence platform that helps you to identify, measure, predict and mitigate property risks and property reinstatement costs in seconds.

Optalitix is a software provider offering low-code pricing and underwriting platform for global (re)insurers and MGAs – improving performance, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

BusinessCloud called on its readers to vote for companies from the 99-strong shortlist. A combination of these votes and choices from an expert judging panel determined the top 50.
