Global company Salesforce will invest $6 billion (£4.4bn) into its UK operations by the end of the decade as it looks to make the country its European AI hub.
The CRM giant, which has been active in the UK for 25 years, said the investment builds on the $4bn pledge made in 2023 and the launch of its London-based AI centre.
“We are doubling down on our long-standing commitment to the UK with this significant investment,” said Marc Benioff, chair and CEO of Salesforce.
“We’re delighted that the UK, already a vital talent and innovation centre, will become our AI hub for Europe, driving product innovation for customers across the region.”
The UK is the San Francisco-based firm’s biggest market outside the United States.
