Renewable energy consultancy Greenio has been acquired by TLS Energy in a move which marks a new chapter for the Newark-based firm under new leadership.
Founded in 2013 by Anna Wooster-Mann, Greenio has spent more than a decade helping homes and businesses transition to greener energy through its consultancy, installation and maintenance services.
The company has now become part of Hertfordshire-based TLS Energy, a group active across the hydro, wind and solar power sectors, as Wooster-Mann leaves the company she has led for 12 years.
Greenio announced the news of the move and the departure of its founder and managing director in a post on LinkedIn.
“After many years building and leading the business, our much-loved managing director, Anna, has stepped away and moved on to her next adventure,” it read.
“Anna’s energy and dedication has shaped who we are today, and we are so grateful for everything she’s done for our team and our customers.
“With that, we are opening a new chapter and are delighted to announce that Greenio has become part of TLS Energy, bringing us together with a team that’s leading the way in renewable energy.
“We are excited about the future and can’t wait to help more businesses save money, lower their carbon footprint and embrace a greener future.”
The transaction was managed by Charlie Neville, deal executive at KBS Corporate, who credited the team at Mackrell LLP, led by Guvvy Sandhu, for helping get the deal across the line under time pressure.
