A former executive at Kin + Carta has been named CEO at rival tech consultancy 101 Ways.

The arrival of Richard Neish will see incumbent Zane Gambasin step into the role of COO at the London firm.

Neish will head up a six-strong leadership team focused on accelerating 101 Ways’ ambitious growth strategy alongside private equity firm Growth Capital Partners, which took a minority investment last year.

Neish brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology consulting and large-scale data and software delivery experience. He joins after leaving Kin + Carta, where he led the firm’s strategic vision as global chief strategy officer and CEO of Kin + Carta Connect.

This included a refocused pure-play custom software and data transformation proposition, AI strategy and spearheading of its scaling journey in North America, LatAm and Europe.

“101 Ways’ strong foundations of technical excellence and trusted delivery, enabled by a diverse and innovative culture, are potent catalysts for the scaling journey ahead,” said Neish.

“The outstanding leadership team at 101 Ways, coupled with the technology sector expertise of Growth Capital Partners, makes for a compelling next stage of the consultancy’s journey, and I’m looking forward to being at the beating heart of it.”

Kelly Waters, 101 Ways chairman, added: “Zane has been an excellent leader over the past five years, taking the business through difficult times during covid and delivering emphatic growth when the pandemic was over. I’d like to thank him for all his work.

“He hands over a strong foundation as a platform for further growth and I’m really looking forward to working with Richard and taking 101 Ways to the next level.”
