Cryptocurrencies have risen in value across the board in the last 24 hours following big falls the day before.

At the time of writing (7am), Bitcoin (BTC) was up 4% to $57,273 from below $55,000 24 hours ago. It is up almost 5% on this time last week.

Ripple’s XRP coin climbed 7% to $1.51. Yesterday it was at $1.41. It is up 7% on a week ago.

Ethereum (ETH), has added a third in value in a week and is up more than 11% in 24 hours to reach $4,317.

Dogecoin reached above 50 cents as it rose 6% in 24 hours. It is down 28% on its position seven days ago.

Litecoin (LTC) is up 10% in value in 24 hours to around $388. The altcoin – billed a lighter and faster version of Bitcoin – is up 16% in the last seven days.

Ether’s sibling Ethereum Classic (ETC) is at $110, 5% higher than Tuesday morning. Despite being well below its remarkable record show of $177 last week, it is up 43% on a week ago.

The biggest rises in the 24-hour period were EOS, up 53% to $13.77, and almost double its value last Wednesday morning; and Polygon’s MATIC token, which at $1.16 is up 42% – 58% above its value a week ago.

Internet Computer (ICP) was one of the few coins to drop, down 24% to $369 – exactly where it was a week ago.
