Toni Wood has joined ‘Rightmove for furniture’ firm as chief marketing officer. 

Wood is a former marketing and commercial chief at leading furniture retailer DFS and joins, rebranded from Kuldea, just weeks after its website launched.  

Described as the UK’s marketleading search and discovery website for home furniture and furnishings, recently completed a successful £1.8m investment round. 

The firm, which now has a workforce of 12 people in London and Portugal, was founded by wife-and-husband team Deirdre McGettrick and Raymond Wright. 

“Having an individual of the calibre of Toni join our company is thrilling,” said founder and CEO Deirdre McGettrick. 

“Her proven track record in building brands and using data to enhance customer experiences will be crucial as we uniquely position for further growth.” 

Wood, who was on the executive committee of DFS Furniture PLC, also has experience of building brands and driving profitable growth at Sainsburys, Proctor and Gamble and Costa Coffee.  

She was recognised by Marketing Week as one of the UK’s Top 100 Marketers in 2019.
