Automation technology company Thoughtonomy has announced the launch of its new Manchester office.

The business, which has developed a digital platform to improve productivity within the workforce, said the new base near Hardman Square will serve as its research and development hub.

Thoughtonomy was founded in the UK in 2013 and now works with over 150 clients in 27 countries. It also has offices in London, New York and Austin.

“Manchester boasts innovative start-ups and a rich pool of talent which will help the company consolidate its leadership position in intelligent automation,” said founder and CEO Terry Walby.

As a city it has always been a hub for innovation whether in business, technology or culture so is the right place to be for a UK growth company.

The news follows a period of growth of Thoughtonomy, which enjoyed year-on-year growth of 316 per cent in 2017.

Over the next few months, the Manchester office will support the launch of the latest release of the Thoughtonomy Virtual Workforce, its award-winning intelligent automation platform.

The technology addresses the challenge of office workforce productivity by freeing up time for skilled workers, reducing operational costs, improving customers’ experiences and providing the ability to launch new services and disrupt existing markets.
