An executive at THG is to join another Manchester-headquartered London-listed business in On the Beach.

Jon Wormald will join the online holiday portal as group CFO on 30th June, succeeding Shaun Morton, who will replace Simon Cooper as CEO.

Cooper will transition into a new role of founder director NED, as previously announced.

Wormald joins On the Beach from THG PLC, where he is currently CFO of THG Nutrition, described as the world’s largest online sports nutrition brand. 

He joined THG in 2021 as deputy group CFO after spending 11 years at the Co-operative Group Limited, holding a number of senior roles including director of M&A, programme director and leading the group’s finance department.
