Time is running to out to enter BusinessCloud’s ‘GM 100 Rising Stars of Business’ list.

We’ve joined forces with GM Business Growth Hub to shine a light on 100 of Greater Manchester’s most exciting companies across four key sectors: GreenTech; digital, creative and tech; advanced manufacturing and materials; and life sciences.

These are the four sectors that Greater Manchester has identified as having the most growth and productivity potential for the region.

Companies can be nominated until February 26th. Fill out the form below.

The list is open to companies from Greater Manchester’s 10 local authority areas of Bolton;  Bury; Manchester; Oldham; Rochdale; Salford; Stockport; Tameside; Trafford; and Wigan.

The ‘GM 100 Rising Stars of Business’ list will be published online on BusinessCloud alongside a launch event and will be followed by a series of four sector-specific roundtables.

Chris Maguire, executive editor of BusinessCloud, said: “We’ve had an amazing response so far with companies of all sizes wanting to be involved.

“As well as a launch event we’re planning to hold a series of roundtables from across the region, which will involve a lot of the businesses on the list.”

Janine Smith, director of the GM Business Growth Hub, said: “We have a team of specialist advisors who can provide help on everything from raising investment; innovation; reaching international markets; building teams; ESG and a lot more besides.

“We’ve identified GreenTech; digital, creative and tech; advanced manufacturing and materials; and life sciences as Greater Manchester’s frontier sectors and we want to give a platform to the rising stars in those industries from across Greater Manchester.”

Companies on the list need to be headquartered or have a significant presence in Greater Manchester; must work in one of the four sectors; and may be early stage or startup. Judges will look for ambition and evidence of growth.
