Retail giant AO.com is hiring 50 new IT roles in the North West over the next 12 months.
The online electricals store is having its biggest ever recruitment drive, after expanding into a new second office at Parklands Business Park in Bolton to accommodate a bigger IT team.
Founded in 2000, the company said it is looking “for everything from Software Developers, UX Designers and Business Analysts to Commercial IT analysts” to support future growth.
The majority of the company’s technology systems are being developed in-house.
IT director Carl Phillips said: “What makes our IT team unique is the range of projects that people get to work on and the freedom that they have to get things done. From infrastructure to coding, our teams get the opportunity to use the latest technology and working practices on a daily basis.

AO is headquartered in Bolton and opened a new office in Manchester in February 2018 for 220 staff.
