Manchester-headquartered travel tech business Rentalcars.com has been voted one of the Best Places to Work in 2018 with the awarding of a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award.
The business, which recruited over 500 people in 2017 and has 290 vacancies to fill in 2018, was placed 16th in the rankings which is based on anonymous ratings and feedback by employees.
Rentalcars.com was just one of three North West businesses to be ranked in the Top 50 which included global brands such as Google, Facebook and Microsoft.
Using its review data, Glassdoor ranks companies with a rating out of five. Companies had to have a minimum of 30 reviews and employ over 1,000 employees.
86 per cent of employees at Rentalcars.com would refer the company to their friends and the business has a CEO rating of 96 per cent.
Speaking on the success, Rentalcars.com CEO Ian Brown, who was ranked as one of the Highest Rated CEOs in 2017, said: “We’re delighted that our employees see us as an exciting and rewarding place to work.
“That said, we still have 15 places to climb. Our goal remains to be the best tech company to work at in the UK!”
