Professional services firm PwC has joined forces with IT support company ramsac to improve its digital service offering to SMEs across the UK.

The alliance was announced at the Vistage Executive Summit London on 1st December, where PwC and ramsac exhibited to over 500 business leaders.

As technology changes rapidly, the pair said it can be difficult for small businesses to keep up to speed with the latest developments. The collaboration aims to help SMEs stay ahead in the digital era by providing them with best in class tools.

The venture combines Surrey-based ramsac’s first hand experience of being a small business with PwC’s global network and expertise.

Nigel Howlett, UK digital private business leader at PwC, said: “All businesses need to be switched on to potential disruption regardless of their size.

“By working together with ramsac, we’re able to help more small companies tackle the challenges and embrace the opportunities new technologies create.

“From a digital fitness assessment to outsourced accounting, financial or legal advice, we’ve got a whole host of digital solutions for SMEs.”

Robert May, managing director at ramsac, added: “Ramsac has established a track record of helping SMEs to better manage, plan and support their technology to achieve growth, security and resilience.

“Our managed service solutions dovetail perfectly into the outsourced services provided by PwC and this is an exciting opportunity for both organisations as we combine our respective areas of expertise into a very focused, proactive service model for aspirational businesses.”
