PropTech Krispyhouse.com has secured £1.3 million funding to digitise the UK’s rental market.

The rentals app and online platform secured the funding from a London family office to boost communications between estate agents, tenants and landlords with ‘WhatsApp-style’ functionality.

It will also expand further around the UK after establishing a presence in the capital.

Users can communicate through instant direct messaging as well as voice and video calls. Renters can also receive notifications of available properties based on their specific requirements.

More than 500 estate agents now advertise their properties on krispyhouse.com.

Founder Anthony Kyriacou set up a lettings and property management business in 2012 before launching krispyhouse.com.
