A new non-executive chair has been appointed at listed Tracsis.

The provider of software, hardware, data analytics/GIS and services for the rail, traffic data and wider transport industries said Jill Easterbrook will be appointed from 1st September 2023.

She will succeed Chris Cole, who has been in the role since 2014, as part of the board succession planning following the completion of his third three-year term.

Easterbrook, who joined Tracsis as a non-executive director in October 2022 and is currently chair of the remuneration committee, is non-exec chair of Headland Consultancy and a non-exec director on the boards of FTSE 100 companies Auto Trader Group plc and Ashtead Group plc, as well as international household brands company UP Global Sourcing Holdings plc.

Tracsis is in the process of recruiting a new non-exec director to replace her as chair of the remuneration committee.

“I am proud to have played a role in steering the group through a period of substantial positive change and sustained growth,” said Cole. “I have full confidence in the board under Jill’s stewardship and look forward to watching its continued progress.”
