A global leader in B2B end-to-end digital music solutions has announced the appointment of its new full-time chief financial officer.
In the coming weeks Julia Hubbard will take over the role at 7Digital from David Holmwood, who has been acting as CFO since June 2018.
Hubbard joins the company having previously held the role of group financial controller in the early days of internet travel pioneer Lastminute.com before roles at Mowlem and CSC Media Group, where she was CFO.
The London-based company provides access to music for clients including the increasingly popular social network TikTok.
Most recently, Hubbard was CFO at AIM-listed Amino Technologies, where she partnered the CEO in a successful turnaround.
It is intended that she will join the 7digital board upon completion of the required nominated adviser due diligence process.
“We are thrilled to welcome Julia to 7digital with her impressive track record in developing technology markets,” commented Simon Cole, CEO of 7digital.
“She inherits a completely re-structured finance team. The credit for that and for reorganising our financial systems rests with David.
“I wish him the very best as he returns to a more pluralist life as an interim CFO.”
The AIM-listed company recently signed a contract with Music Powered Games, a developer of online music games.
