A digital marketing and communications company co-founded by BBC Dragon Steven Bartlett has appointed a managing director of consulting.

Tom Lindfalk, who joined Flight Story at inception in October 2021, will now lead its Flight Strategy offering.

Formerly a senior consultant at PwC Consulting, with extensive experience of helping global organisations navigate technology transformation, he led some of PwC’s most complex, multi-year transformation programmes across brands such as Natwest Group, LSEG, Sainsbury’s, Abrdn and Phoenix Group.

With the marketing and communications industry on the verge of the biggest transformation of this generation due to the exponential growth of technologies such as AI, Flight Story says Lindfalk is excellently placed to support the growth of Flight Story’s proposition, ensuring brands are ultimately kept at the forefront of this change.

“I am extremely honoured to step into this new position,” said Lindfalk. “This promotion represents a tremendous opportunity, and I can’t wait to leverage my skills and expertise to lead our company towards new heights.

“I am committed to driving innovation, building a business that people are proud to be a part of, and delivering exceptional results for our stakeholders across the board.”

Oliver Yonchev, CEO and co-founder of Flight Story, added: “As one of the first people to join our team, Tom has been integral to building Flight Story.

“Across my career I’ve had the pleasure of working with many exceptional leaders, but Tom truly is a standout – experienced, intelligent and a person of great integrity. I couldn’t be happier to see him continue his journey as our strategy team’s managing director.”
