Manchester marketing firm relocates to allow growth

Custard Online Marketing has relocated to allow the expansion of its digital marketing team.

The Manchester-based digital marketing agency, which was set up in 2007, specialises in SEO, content marketing, PPC and social media.

Formerly located at Fourways House on Hilton Street in the Northern Quarter, the company has more than doubled its office space with new premises in Hanover House on Charlotte Street, which borders Chinatown.

During the last six months Custard has won a host of new accounts including Kelkoo Group, BPP and All Round Fun, resulting in the need for additional team members to help keep up with demand.

Four full time staff have recently joined, including head of SEO, Alex Duthie and copywriter Amber Denwood, whilst senior PPC consultant Phil Walsh joins the team for three days per week.

“Our old premises were getting a bit cosy – we’d basically run out of space,” said managing director Sam Allcock.

“The new open-plan office provides greater scope for collaboration between staff members and gives us room to expand the team further as and when demand requires us to do so.

“The higher specification of the new space also better reflects where we’re at as a business, whilst at the same time providing a nicer working environment for our staff – with standing desks and dedicated break-out areas.

“I am delighted to welcome our newest staff members whose combined experience is already having a hugely positive impact on the quality of our service.”

Custard became a Googler Premier Partner in 2017 and was also shortlisted for the Best Use of Content Marketing at the 2017 UK Search Awards.
