The cryptocurrency majors dropped value in the last 24 hours but remain up over seven days.

At the time of writing (7am UK), market leader Bitcoin fell back from $40,000 with a 4% dip which puts it close to $38k. Its price is 3% higher than last Tuesday morning.

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable crypto, lost 3% to drop below $2,500 but is 13% up over seven days.

Binance Coin (BNB) is at $322 after a 3% fall which leaves it 6% up over seven days.

Cardano (ADA) fell 5 cents to $1.28 – a 4% drop – and is 3% higher than its position a week ago.

Ripple’s XRP coin dropped 2% to sit below 72c. However it is 15% up in a week.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) is now below 20c, having dipped 3% in the last 24 hours. It is 1.5% up over seven days.

Decred (DCR) fell the most among the top 100 coins, dropping 12% to $127.98 – but is slightly up over seven days.

Voyager Token (VGX), THORChain (RUNE) and Stacks (STX) were the big winners in the last 24 hours.

VGX was up 22% to $2.85, RUNE climbed 20% to $7.23 – which means it has doubled in value in a week – and STX is at $1.45 after an 18% rise.

The cryptocurrency market dropped 3% in value in the last 24 hours, with the 11,000+ coins now worth a collective $1.55 trillion.
