FuelHub, a premium meal prep company, has announced three senior appointments as it continues to strengthen the team supporting its next phase of growth.

The appointments come as FuelHub – founded by Northern Leaders and Founder 250 stars Michelle and James Laithwaite – continues to scale at pace.

The business has achieved 98% compound annual growth over three years and £6.5 million in turnover for the financial year ending April 2026.

Louise Hawker joins FuelHub full time as finance director, having first worked with the business on a fractional basis since summer 2022. Over the past four years, she’s been central to FuelHub’s financial direction, bringing both commercial challenge and strategic perspective as the business has scaled.

Her background includes over a decade at AJ Bell and building her own accountancy business, experience she’s already put to work at FuelHub and will now apply in a permanent capacity.

Sarah Ekin joins as product manager from a leading food manufacturing business, bringing a strong background in new product development. She’ll expand FuelHub’s product range, build out new categories and work to ensure customers receive the highest-quality meals from the best suppliers available.

Jo-Anne Postlethwaite joins as technical manager, also from a leading food manufacturing business. Jo brings extensive experience in food safety, quality and compliance, and will lead the technical function across FuelHub’s facility as production continues to scale.

“We’re scaling at pace and that means the people around the table matter more than ever,” said CEO Michelle Laithwaite.

“These appointments strengthen the foundations that allow us to grow without compromising what makes FuelHub what it is – premium, precise nutrition that’s consistent for everyday high performers.

“We’re building a business that performs as well behind the scenes as it does for the people we serve.”

The appointments follow a record year for FuelHub, which was ranked 39th in The Sunday Times 100 2026. The business now produces more than 25,000 meals each week across the UK, has surpassed three million meals sold and serves over 3,000 subscribers.
