Pet health business Bought By Many has appointed Lidia Oshlyansky as its first Chief Product Officer. 

A human-computer interaction specialist, Oshlyansky brings over 20 years’ experience working for global tech brands including Spotify, Google and Nokia. 

Lidia will join Bought By Many’s diverse Senior Leadership Team and will be the fourth woman on the now nine-strong C-suite team to support the next stage of the company’s journey as it expands its pet insurance, health and wellness offer. 

As part of the newly created leadership role, Lidia will lead product management and user experience, guiding the company on its mission to create an enhanced pet health offer, giving pet parents access to a range of health and wellbeing solutions including preventative treatments, health plans and top tier levels of protection, all in one place. 

The brand has expanded its footprint to meet growing global demand after quickly becoming one of the UK’s biggest pet insurance providers since it launched its policies there in 2017. The company moved into the Swedish market in 2019, followed by a state-by-state roll out in the US starting in March of this year – both under the ManyPets brand – and now insures almost half a million pets worldwide. 

In June 2021, the company closed a $350 million Series-D funding round through its holding company Many Group Ltd, securing a valuation of $2bn.  

The investment will support the brand’s ambitious global expansion and product development drive and will continue to create jobs intentionally. The group doubled its team over the past year and now employs more than 317 people internationally.
