EdTech RM plc, a leading supplier of technology and resources to the education sector, has named Emmanuel Walter as its interim chief financial officer.

He succeeds Mark Berry, who announced on May 26, that he would be stepping down from the role.

Walter is an experienced Group CFO with more than 20 years’ international experience in UK, Europe and Asia.

He has held various senior financial positions, with multinationals specialising in the digital marketing, media, tech and SaaS sectors as well as engineering. He has broad experience managing JV, listed and PE backed global companies.

Berry formally steps down from the board and as CFO with effect from August 15, 2022. His full time employment will cease on  November 20.

In a  lengthy career, Walter has held a variety of senior financial and operational executive positions for large multinationals such as Kantar Media, Inmarsat, Dialog Semi-Conductor, ABB and GE.

With nearly 50 years’ experience in providing technology for education, RM is a trusted partner to thousands of schools.

In July, RM announced a £26m partnership with The Harris Federation – a leading multi-academy trust in and around London – to refresh all of Harris Federation’s IT infrastructure and devices over the next five years.
