eCommerce agency Visualsoft is celebrating the launch of its new office in Newcastle City Centre, as part of plans to rapidly scale operations and attract new clients to the business.
The site, located at 71 Grey Street, is in the heart of Newcastle’s vibrant commercial district. It replaces and significantly enlarges the company’s previous satellite office on Forth Lane.
At almost 8,000 square feet, Grey Street is set to expand the company’s estate by a third, with plans to update and renovate its Teesside headquarters and central Manchester sites in the near future.
The open-plan space, which was designed and fit out by Ultimate Group, will house a 90-strong team, all of whom will be relocated from other offices in the business. It also aims to future-proof Visualsoft’s ambitious recruitment strategy, which looks to significantly grow headcount over the next 12 months.
The new office launch follows a successful year for the eCommerce agency, which saw an 18% turnover increase in turnover, taking it from £11 million in 2016/17 to £13 million in 2017/18. Profit before tax also increased by more than 100%, from £0.9 million in 2016/17 to £2 million in 2017/18.
