The Fearless Academy has expanded into a second location after receiving funding from Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

LCRCA has awarded Fearless Adventures’ academy scheme funding as part of the Skills Bootcamps programme to close the digital skills gap in the area.

Following the announcement, the Fearless Academy will deliver fully-funded, industry-led, digital marketing training to help individuals and businesses in Sefton, Wirral, Halton, Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens.

The first cohort will start on December 19, 2022, with training delivered on Mondays and Tuesdays each week.

There are up to 30 learner spaces available for the first cohort, which is open to anyone over the age of 19.

Skills Bootcamps are fully-funded, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

Academy director Amy Wild said: “We’ve worked tirelessly to develop an industry-led digital marketing curriculum that will give learners the best chance of finding employment. I am delighted we are able to expand our training to the Liverpool region and help close the digital skills gap in the North.”
