LegalTech

A digital law firm founded by the former boss of DWF has invested in a platform connecting startups, investors and advisors.

Manchester-headquartered arch.law was launched by former DWF CEO Andrew Leaitherland in 2021 to deliver legal solutions differently.

The investment will also see arch.law partner with Connectd as it looks to bring startups together with investors and advisors through smart matching technology.

Connectd is also partnering with arch.law and Danish legaltech firm Contractbook to launch ConnectdLegal by helping members establish their essential legal documentation without incurring expensive fees.

Leaitherland said: “Our strategic investment in Connectd not only provides opportunities and pathways but also an innovative strategic partnership delivering cost effective legal solutions to startups, their investors and advisors, differently.”

Roei Samuel, Connectd founder and CEO added: “I’m truly excited to see how ConnectdLegal can reduce friction within the startup ecosystem and to see our partnership with arch.law grow.

“We are both pushing to innovate within the legal sector and having someone with Andrew’s legal knowledge and experience involved with Connectd is a huge honour for us.”
