Ripple (XRP) was the only major cryptocurrency coin to gain value over the weekend.

XRP moved from below 75 cents on Friday morning to 77c at the time of writing on Monday (7am UK). That leaves it 2% up over seven days.

Terra (LUNA) – the year’s stellar performer, which had been closing on XRP in the market cap valuation table – dropped from $96 to below $91. It remains 13% higher than its price a week ago, however.

Avalanche (AVAX) fell from $75 to almost $69 and is 4% down in a week.

Polkadot (DOT) shed just 4c to $17.55. It is 6% up in a week.

Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) dropped around $250 to $38,650 and is 1% up over seven days, while Ethereum (ETH) remained around $2,600 and is 2% higher than its price last Monday morning.

Binance Coin (BNB) fell $3 to $369 with a seven-day price down 1%.

 

A more than $1 loss puts Solana (SOL) around $80.50, leaving it 3% down over the course of seven days, while Cardano (ADA) remained around 80c and is 2% down in a week.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) dropped slightly to around 11.5c. DOGE is 5% down in a week.

The overall market cap of the more than 18,100 coins is at $1.74 trillion, up from $1.73tr on Friday.
