Polkadot and Bitcoin were the only top 10 cryptocurrencies to gain value over the weekend.

DOT climbed from $27 on Friday morning to above $28.50 at the time of writing on Monday (7am UK). It is 7% up in a week.

Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) grew from $48,375 to just below $49,100, which leaves it 1% up over seven days.

Terra (LUNA) suffered the most with a drop from $71 to almost $59 over the three days which leaves it 4% down in a week.

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, dropped from $4,075 to just below $4,000. The smart contract blockchain platform is 3% down over seven days.

Solana (SOL) is at $166 after sitting at $178 on Friday and has dipped by 13% since last Monday morning.

Ripple (XRP) dropped 2 cents to below 83c yet is 5% up in a week. Binance Coin (BNB) fell from $579 to $558, 2% up over seven days.

 

Cardano (ADA) remained around $1.30, 1% down on last Monday, while Avalanche (AVAX) fell from $88 to around $85.50, 3% up in a week.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) remained around 17c, 1% below its price last Monday, while its Ethereum-based spinoff SHIBA INU (SHIB) is also 1% down in a week.

The overall market cap of the more than 15,500 coins is at $2.24 trillion, compared with $2.27tr on Friday morning.
