Cardano enjoyed a huge price increase over the weekend while most of the other majors dropped value.

Its ADA token is at $1.51 at the time of writing (7am UK), up from $1.29 on Friday morning, and 29% up in a week.

Terra (LUNA) grew from $81 on Friday to above $83.50 and is 16% higher than its price a week ago.

Dogecoin (DOGE), meanwhile, fell from almost 20 cents at 7am on Friday – a spike caused by an Elon Musk tweet – to 17c yet is 13% up over seven days.

Its Ethereum-based spinoff SHIBA INU (SHIB) is 4% up over seven days.

Solana (SOL) shed $7 to $143 and is more or less where it was a week ago, while Binance Coin (BNB) dropped $1 to $486, 10% up over seven days.

Polkadot (DOT) fell from $27.15 to $26.72 and is 7% up over seven days. Ripple (XRP) dropped 2c to 76c and is 1% down in a week.

Avalanche (AVAX) dropped $2 to $89 and is where it was a week ago.

Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) is around $42,850, more or less where it was on Friday morning, which leaves it 2% up over seven days.

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, fell slightly to around $3,275 and is 4% up in a week.

 

The overall market cap of the almost 16,900 coins is at $2.05 trillion, down from $2.06tr on Friday.
