Terra (LUNA) continued to increase in value over the weekend as the major coins had mixed fortunes.
LUNA grew from $66.95 on Friday morning to $72.16 at the time of writing (7am UK) and is the only major coin to be up over the course of a week: it is 40% higher than its price last Monday.
Cardano (ADA) and Ripple (XRP) each added two cents to reach 85c and 72c respectively. However they are 11% and 10% down over the course of a week.
Polkadot (DOT) went from $16.12 to $16.88 over the weekend and is only down 3% on last Monday morning’s price.
Avalanche (AVAX) fell from $75.63 to $73.10 and is 10% down over seven days.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) dropped around $1,000 to $37,775 and is 4% down in a week while Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, remained around $2,600 and is 5% down on its price seven days ago.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) remained above 12c, down 12% in a week, while Binance Coin (BNB) stayed around $362, 8% down on last Monday.
Solana (SOL) dropped $3 to $86 and is 8% down over seven days.
The overall market cap of the more than 17,800 coins is at $1.71 trillion, a 3% decrease in the last 24 hours.
