Avalanche (AVAX) and Solana (SOL) dropped the most value as the cryptocurrency market fell in the last 24 hours.
Each shed 8%, with AVAX standing at $76.88 at the time of writing (7am UK), 2% higher than its price a week ago, and SOL at $91.71, up 4% in a week.
Market leaders Bitcoin and Ethereum dropped 5% and 6% respectively. BTC is below $41,350, 7% up over seven days, while ETH is headed towards $2,700 and 4% up in a week.
Polkadot (DOT) is at $17.25 after losing 6% yet is 7% up in a week.
Cardano (ADA) is at 87 cents after dropping 5% yet is 3% up over the course of a week.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) shed 4% to drop below 13c, 3% higher than its price last Friday morning.
Ripple (XRP), down 4%, is now below 74c but 6% up over seven days.
Binance Coin (BNB) shed 3% to $394 and is 9% up in a week.
Terra (LUNA) – this year’s stellar performer – lost 1% to $92 and is a whopping 38% higher than its price seven days ago.
The overall market cap of the almost 18,000 coins is at $1.83 trillion, a 4.1% decrease in the last 24 hours.
