Connected car firm Verex has appointed a new CEO.

Mark Aryaeenia will oversee the expanding portfolio of connected data services at Verex, which is headquartered in Hertfordshire with an additional base in Bristol.

The group uses data to deliver insurance branded products and services for 13 vehicle manufacturers including Jaguar Land Rover, Renault, Mazda, Volvo, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and MG.

Aryaeenia has spent three years on the company’s executive team. “This is an exciting time for the business as we sign exclusive service agreements with new vehicle manufacturers as well as growing our market leading solutions with existing partners in the UK,” he said.

“Our new strategy will solidify and expand these connections not just in the UK, but also in new markets – and I am thrilled to be leading the talented and experienced team at Verex.”

Verex’s new tech solutions will help automate and control claims for insurers and increase parts and repair referrals to vehicle manufacturers.

Former Marvel CEO to become Arrival chairman

Brian Hallett, Verex Group chairman, added: “Mark joined our executive team three years ago and has played a significant role in shaping our new Protex strategy.

His extensive leadership experience in digital and data led solutions has been critical in implementing our continued growth.

Our new portfolio of connected services is attracting more vehicle manufacturers and I am confident that Mark will be able to build on this growth and extend our position as the market leader.”
