Doctor Care Anywhere is celebrating a double success after reviews of its platform.

The HealthTech 50 firm’s online booking services now hold the class 1 medical device status, meeting the requirements of the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) assessment.

The service is designed to offer users the ability to book medical appointments online 24/7, accommodating the varying schedules and locations of patients.

Doctor Care Anywhere said the classification reflects the platform’s adherence to high safety and quality standards in healthcare delivery; emphasis on data security and privacy; and commitment to regulatory compliance and healthcare efficiency.

The pass mark for the assessment is 65%, with only 20% of organisations taking part achieving this first time around. Doctor Care Anywhere achieved 83% for its website and 86% on both iOS and Android for its mobile apps.
