Richard Betts had seemed set for a well-deserved retirement when he launched Vizst Technology in 2021 at the age of 52. He’d previously been the CEO of a firm called Mettoni, which exited to Enghouse Interactive in 2010 but described retirement ‘as the worst thing I’ve ever done’. In 2021 he founded Vizst Technology, uniting three acquired businesses into a single, full-service cybersecurity and managed services provider. Today it’s one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies.
