Founded by Laurence Newman and Andrew Showman, The Beauty Tech Group has established itself as a leader in developing and retailing advanced at-home beauty devices. The group’s three brands – CurrentBody Skin, ZIIP Beauty and Tria Laser – deliver professional-grade technologies, historically found only in clinical settings, directly to consumers. Laurence Newman graduated from Manchester University while Andrew Showman had founded a successful digital camera eCommerce business. In 2009 Newman reached out to Showman, proposing that the best way to bring at-home devices to the masses was through eCommerce and CurrentBody was launched.
