Just before 2000, David Timmis had a hunch that the internet was going to change the way people searched for cars, in particular car leasing deals – and so Leasing.com was born. The goal was to create the go-to place for consumers to find the best leasing offers. He’s helped grow the business to around £10m turnover and he handed over the CEO reins to Mike Fazal in February 2025. He’s supported several charities over the years and is a big supporter of Macclesfield FC.
