Bold Bean Co was launched in 2021 by Amelia Christie-Miller with the aim of creating a culture of bean obsessives. The world was in the midst of a pandemic and the restaurant supply business she worked for was about to collapse. Barcelona-based Christie-Miller is a new mum and a best-selling cookbook author. Her co-founder is Ed Whelpton.
